Consignment Policy: Items will be consigned for 3 months from the date the contract is signed and dated. And be placed in the possession of the Consignee, Step’in Western Styles and sold through the store and its’ channels. During this time, the Consignor may not retake possession or sell the consigned item on their own. When the Consignee sells the consigned item the Consignor will be notified within the week of the sale and a percentage of 60% of the selling price gets allocated to the Consignor and 40% goes to the Consignee, Step’in Western Styles. Selling price of an item will be decided upon by the Consignee, Step'in Western based on item age, condition, original purchased price, and the current going rate for the item as is or similar item if the exact item is not found as reference. Please allow up to a week for a price to be decided on. The Consignor must agree to the decided upon selling price for the item to be consigned. The Consignor may negotiate or counter offer the decided upon selling price. If an agreement is not made the item will not be consigned. Either party may back out of the discussions at any time before they sign the contract. A copy of the contract will be given to each party. If the consigned item is lost, stolen, or damaged while in possession of the Consignee, Step’in Western Styles, the Consignee is responsible for paying the Consignor their percentage of 60% of the sell price as if the item was sold. If a consigned item is not picked up by the Consignor within 2 months from the date the unsold item is to be picked up then the Consignor automatically relinquishes ownership of the consigned item to the Consignee, Step’in Western Styles.
